Celebrate First-Generation Graduates April 19
The First Forward Graduation Ceremony is a celebration of first-generation graduates who are the first in their family to graduate from college.
If you’re graduating this semester, sign up now to participate. You will receive a teal cord presented to you either by a mentor who has helped you along the way, or by the Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. You’ll be able to proudly wear your cord during the 100th Commencement ceremony May 6.
This semester’s ceremony is Wednesday, April 19 at 6 p.m. in the Simplot Ballroom of the Student Union. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with music and refreshments.
Register here by April 12.
Families and friends are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served; suggested attire is business casual.
